We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han (Review #79)

"Her whole life, Belly has been in love with the Fishers. Susannah was like a second mother to her, Conrad was her first love, and Jeremiah was her first real boyfriend. Now, after two years, Jeremiah gets down on bended knee and offers Belly what she has always wanted... to be Belly Fisher.

 As Jeremiah and Belly head back to Cousins Beach to plan their wedding, Conrad comes home to tell Belly he made a mistake when he broke her heart. Now Belly must confront her feelings for Jeremiah and Conrad and face a truth she has possibly always known: She will have to break one of their hearts."

 Review:
Really? Ugh, she goes with Jeremiah, unfortunately, he CHEATS on her, and she goes running back to Conrad. End of story. You don't need to waste your time. The ending is absolutely typical. Belly and Conrad getting married and it's absolutely horrible. I really fit all the flaws this book has into this single post. All I can say is that the constant back and forth inside this love triangle was dumb. The third book ended where the first book did, WITH HER PICKING CONRAD. If Jenny Han had just left the first book well enough alone, we'd all be better off. Thanks Jenny Han, for wasting my time.

I am not for the petty popular girl books, and this is definitely not one of those books. The revenge you wish you got on the person who double-crossed you is finally let loose in one of the best and most inventive ways, and the ending left me jaw-dropped. This is a book everyone should have on their shelf.
