"The girl, the monster, the prince, the queen.

They broke the world.

And some things can never be undone.

they must unite once more to fight the dark chaos they've unleashed - but is it already too late?"

Review:

This was not as amazing as I was hoping!!!! Ugh I’m so torn on this one. I’ve really become invested in the three leading characters in this story and I was hyped to read their epic conclusion. This was what everything has culminated to; the epic collision between humans-not-humans, monsters-not-monsters, and gods-not-gods. However, this book seemed to just be a copy-and-paste from the last book.

Our group of villains are doing exactly what they did in the last book, squabbling amongst themselves and traveling to some unknown spot to stop the world from ending, or dying to try. That's basically it. I think the only difference this time around is that Nadya is as much of a monster as Malachiasz is.

It was very frustrating for me to read of yet another mission to travel through unknown lands to end up exactly in the same spot our characters have always been in! Am I happy that (most) plot points finally saw their conclusion? Sure. But so much of this book is mush to me that it isn't until the last third of the book do we really start to see things take off.

Overall, this final book left a bad taste in my mouth and a lot of disappointment. Big time bummer.

Anyways, What did you think of the final book? Let me know your own thoughts and feels down below in the comments!

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (Review #20)

"Mara Dyer doesn't think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there. It can. She believes there must be more to the accident she can't remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed. There is. She doesn't believe that after everything she's been through, she can fall in love. She's wrong." Review: This is a book you simply have to read. It's probably a part of my top ten favorite books list. Mara is this girl who just lost her friends and boyfriend in a terrible, but also peculiar, accident and now people who tick her off - and who she's attracted to (cough-cough-Noah-cough-cough) - are in her powerful line of fire... It's a tantalizing tale that will have you (for a lack of a better cliche) gripping the edge of your seat!!

Antigoddess by Kendare Blake (Review #141)

"Old Gods never die.. or so Athena thought. But then the feathers started sprouting beneath her skin, invading her lungs like a strange cancer, and Hermes showed up with a fever eating away his flesh. So much for living a quiet eternity in perpetual health. Desperately seeking the cause of their slow, miserable deaths, Athena and Hermes travel the world, gathering allies and discovering enemies both new and old. Their search leads them to Cassandra - an ordinary girl who was once an extraordinary prophetess, protected and loved by a god. These days, Cassandra doesn't involve herself in the business of gods - in fact, she doesn't even know they exist. But she could be the key in a war that is only just beginning. Because Hera, the queen of the gods, has aligned herself with others of the ancient Olympians, who are killing off rivals in an attempt to prolong their own lives. But these antigods have become corrupted in their desperation to survive, horrific caric...

Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen (Review #34)

"Ever since her parents' divorce, Auden has been unable to sleep. She's built a routine that gets her through each night; but when the opportunity comes for her to spend her summer at the beach with her father and his new family, she jumps at the chance to break out of her rut. Life at the beach proves more challenging than Auden expects. In addition to trying to figure out how she fits in to her father's new life, she also has to navigate the girls at work with their gossip and friendship and crushes. And then there's Eli, a fellow insomniac who becomes her nocturnal tour guide. With an endless supply of long summer nights between them, almost anything can happen...." Review: I was a Sarah Dessen - virgin. This was my first time reading her work and it was inexhaustibly fantastic. I couldn't put it down. literally I stayed up all night reading this novel, maybe just how Dessen wanted me to. that is why I'm writing this at such an ungodly hour. Wh...
