Review:
This is a very sweet love story and I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. This is one of those books you curl up with when you're having a bad day and need chirking up. It has the raw emotion and quirky heroine along with a long awaited reunion our character has tried desperately to avoid. An unexpected twist was really the antagonist. It isn't made clear, gut-wrenchingly I might add, who that is until the end. This book also gave me an internal look on myself. The things our beloved Dolores did was nothing short of courageous, and sometimes I'd think to myself, "man, if I was her, I'd crawl up into a ball and just cry and cry and cry." And when she didn't, I was quite proud. A strength so few have, she had. And this made me think about the girls in similar books and then it all made sense. That's why he fell in love with her. She was courageous.
