Review:
I had flushed cheeks for 75% of the book. I'm just saying, this book walks the line between PG-13 and R. And the darkness has just begun. I've always found the horror movie Mirrors (2008) extremely creepy and Through the Zombie Glass plays on the same concept. It was every bit as scary as the movie. Along with the love/lust relationship to add the mix, I was enamored. I understood the war waged inside her between good and evil and I was absolutely devastated with the beginning of Ali and Cole's relationship. Again though, I must compliment the character's resilience and her won't-back-down attitude. I mean, if I could beat the living crap out of the chick who crossed me, I'd take advantage. Fortunately I lived vicariously through dear Alice. On one final note, I'm a tad tormented by Ali and Cole. If the Gena Showalter skips over their big step (hint-hint) in their relationship, I swear, I will go slayer on her.

I am not for the petty popular girl books, and this is definitely not one of those books. The revenge you wish you got on the person who double-crossed you is finally let loose in one of the best and most inventive ways, and the ending left me jaw-dropped. This is a book everyone should have on their shelf.
