Review:

You don't know you need a good classic smutty paranormal read until you get one, and then everything falls right into place. It has all my go to favorite tropes. Forced proximity, enemies to lovers, a murder mystery, and a man hell bent on hating our FMC but just can't help himself on bringing her pleasure. 


Damn, if it ain't broke, why fix it? Am I right? Is this plot original? Absolutely not. But it's done pretty good and I can't really complain here. I love a succubus moment and I love the teasing aspect to the story. I will say, the murder mystery of our FMC's mother really is interesting. Not sure if I've guessed the "big reveal" quite yet but this is only book 1/3! And just like all smut trilogies, the spice level was doing low numbers. Crawford, you better bring the rain next book, that's all I'm saying!

I am not for the petty popular girl books, and this is definitely not one of those books. The revenge you wish you got on the person who double-crossed you is finally let loose in one of the best and most inventive ways, and the ending left me jaw-dropped. This is a book everyone should have on their shelf.
