Review:
I’ve never started a book with so much anger in my heart. Not only a pregnancy trope, but a FORCED PREGNANCY????? No absolutely not. Honestly, I almost refused to read this for that simple fact alone. No way is everyone trying to gaslight a 17-year-old into having a baby. NOPE. The legendary (17-year-old) Empress is saddled with a baby???? Gimme a break.


This installment really just pissed me off if I'm completely honest. It was really just more turmoil of deciding between Aric and Jack; at this point I don't really care who she chooses, if she even does pick. Frankly I was hoping the entire time for something to happen and the baby would die so we could focus on more important things like... the WAR???? 

I will say though my favorite part of this one was the scene with the Cups suit. OMG. Bad bitch energy!!!!! Honestly good for her. 


Of course now I must anxiously await for the final installment to be released along with everyone else. Last time I checked, it was reported to come out Summer 2022, so let's hope that's true!

I am not for the petty popular girl books, and this is definitely not one of those books. The revenge you wish you got on the person who double-crossed you is finally let loose in one of the best and most inventive ways, and the ending left me jaw-dropped. This is a book everyone should have on their shelf.
