Review:
I feel like I had dream like this once… and I liked it even better this time. Monsters who steal your soul by playing music???? Obsessed. A badass ruthless chick tryna prove she’s as cold as her father? Amazing. A monster and the chick running for their lives through the dangerous streets of Verity????? Fantastic.


August was an interesting character to read, wanting so desperately to be human, but cataclysmically isn’t. And Kate tries at every turn to be invincible and unbreakable. Both will fail and in the best way possible (for the story at least). I think the culprit behind reigniting the war between the sides of the Seam was obvious, but the ending elegy had my head SPINNING!!!! 

Overall, an enjoyable read, I can’t wait to dive into the next installment! Let me know your own thoughts and feels down below in the comments!

I am not for the petty popular girl books, and this is definitely not one of those books. The revenge you wish you got on the person who double-crossed you is finally let loose in one of the best and most inventive ways, and the ending left me jaw-dropped. This is a book everyone should have on their shelf.
