Review:
Ah, nostalgia! My very first review ever, I read Girl, Stolen. And though I loved it, I always thought there was more to be said. A romantic tension between Cheyenne and Griffin never to be requited. UNTIL RECENTLY!! I hadn’t learned until fairly recently that there was a sequel published in 2017!!!! And not only that, but my mom had a copy of it!!!!

So, eager as ever, I revisited the world of Cheyenne Wilder. It was interesting to come back, six months later for the trial. Cheyenne’s family more worried for her than ever, Griffin now visiting from his new home in Chicago for the trial. New and old villains are out to get the blind girl who put away Roy, and dude, you’d think it would have to be one complicated scheme to get her a second time. 

And it was. Granted, as the reader, I knew from the get what the plan was. Cheyenne though is a teenager and who could deny the connection between her and Griffboy???? I loved the climax and the ending, it was action packed. You got it all, the kidnapping, the fighting, explosions, some loss of life, and some gunshot wounds, but I gotta say. I had a few issues with this one.

I feel like we’re building up to the moment that Cheyenne gets taken, it happens in the span of a few chapters, and then the book ends. I feel like the author should’ve split it in half; one half the before, the other half her being kidnapped. It’s a stark contrast from the last book where the majority of the book is her being held captive. But overall, I was satisfied with how this went. I’m so glad I got to revisit this and I hope you are too! 

This also gave me the perfect opportunity to revisit the series’ I’ve started in the past but have yet to finish, so prepare for more sequels coming soon!
