Review:
This story began as any paranormal book does: with the main character feeling as though she's going crazy. Then a guy with mysteriously shaded eyes comes along and "saves her" and helps her in her journey of becoming who she really is. This story was no exception. In fact, it fits the bill to the letter. I was a little disappointed, I must admit. I thought this story would put a new spin on a tale all too popular nowadays. Unfortunately, it fell below my expectations. As I was reading it, I felt as though I had read it before and everything was too predictable. It held a stunning resemblance to Fated by Alyson Noel which may explain my sense of déjà-vu. But, nonetheless, I should have that feeling while reading the book. I should have embarked on a new adventure, a new tale but that was not the case. I have come to the conclusion of not recommending this book, simply because you've probably already read it.

I am not for the petty popular girl books, and this is definitely not one of those books. The revenge you wish you got on the person who double-crossed you is finally let loose in one of the best and most inventive ways, and the ending left me jaw-dropped. This is a book everyone should have on their shelf.
