Review:
Let me start by saying this book is centered on the Christian Rapture, so if your feelings or religious beliefs contradict what's within this book, don't shoot the messenger. I was introduced to this book through my father, who says this is his favorite book/series. Granted, he does not read, like, ever. So already I was skeptical of its quality. It took me an EXTREMELY long time to get into it. Honestly, overall, the book sucked. I obviously read a lot so my quality level in books is higher than others so I think my first critique of this book was its pace. I mean the first chapter, obviously, people have disappeared. NOTHING ELSE HAPPENED. The rest of the book was the world recuperating. It wasn't until the very last chapter, that more action was added to the plot. Another aspect that troubled me was the Christians. They are, rightfully, trying to figure out what they must do to be in God's good graces again. They also were trying to figure out who the Anti-Christ was. To me it was so obvious! You found out in the last chapter and I was jumping up and down screaming "I told you so!" I am not going to finish the series, solely because the pace was excruciating. Thanks, but no thanks, dad.

I am not for the petty popular girl books, and this is definitely not one of those books. The revenge you wish you got on the person who double-crossed you is finally let loose in one of the best and most inventive ways, and the ending left me jaw-dropped. This is a book everyone should have on their shelf.
